Box turtle questions ~~ a pet that lives in our backyard?

One has lived in our backyard for 12 years. The backyard is a virtual paradise of shrubs, flowers in full bloom, shade all along the wooden fence line. The turtle is solid brown, not spotted brown. It has a few yellow spots around the mouth, but none on its front legs. It is larger than a man's fist by about 1/2 again. In 2005 a super heat wave hit and the turtle disappeared. This year in the spring it appeared again, apparently none the worse for having hid out through two summers and winters. It eats snails, bugs, earthworms. We offer eggs, apples, plumbs, wet dog food. Every morning it walks up to our back door and stares at us on the inside. That's when we freshen the bath water and take out some food. It quickly takes its bath, sometimes eats a tiny amount of the food, sometimes ignores it. It is friendly, listens to us talk, and allows us to stroke its chin.

Yesterday my daughter nearly ran over a box turtle in our front driveway. It wasn't ours. It is smaller, with lots of yellow spots around the mouth and all over the front legs. It looks like photos I've seen on the net.

What's the risk of this new turtle in the backyard, and why is our turtle brown-shelled all over, with no yellow dots like this new one?

Box turtle questions ~~ a pet that lives in our backyard?
There is a fair amount of variation between individual box turtles and the males tend to have brighter colours on the head and legs. However you may also have two sub-species. The solid brown shell is more typical of the three-toed box (they can actually have 4 toes) which is Terrapene carolina triungis while the one with yellow on the shell sounds like an Eastern box (T. carolina carolina). Their ranges do overlap around Alabama and Mississippi.

Your care of your backyard visitor is excellent and your description of living with him/her quite charming. It's no wonder why he has stayed in your yard for 12 years.

If the second turtle is also native to your area then there should be no risk from introducing them. Males can be territorial but as your first one is established in your backyard they will likely naturally work something out. I'm assuming that the turtles are not actively contained in your yard but are free to come and go. This link may be helpful.

Reply:all individuals are different only clones have identical genetics. humans dont all have the same moles and skin colour shape size etc. so why would a turtle?

Update on Heidi, the scardey cat. Do you all think she is coming around ?

She is 8 months old and has been a scard cat from the shelters, two to be exact, but loves her partner cat. We've had her for two months.

I have been trying all your suggestions and she is just starting to smell our slippers, clothing, socks anything on the floor and laying on them as to say, it's OK. She doesn't spray just smells and lays. She is fixed.

We still can't touch her. I just bought, on line, "Essence of Flower" a rescue remedy by Dr. Jean Hovfe, recommended by "Old Cat Lady".

I will let you all know how this works.

And the person who said, "Just talk to her and tell her how much you love her and tell her how beautiful she is" I give you all my gratitude. And to he person who said, not to expect anything, but give her only what she can accept is a wonderful thought for us to let go and love what is!

Thank you all,

But, I'm still waiting on the Essence of Flower to cure all. Let you all know about this.

Update on Heidi, the scardey cat. Do you all think she is coming around ?
Some cats just take more time to become acclimated. It sounds as if you are doing a great job with Heidi. Do let us know about the Essence of Flower - I've never heard of that, but it seems interesting.

I'm going to give you another bit of advice that may sound totally off the wall. In fact, some of you readers may think I'm a bit "off" in the head, but, what the heck, here goes....along with talking to Heidi, try singing to her!

For some reason, cats enjoy this. I can sing a couple of verses of

"Happy Birthday" (inserting the cat's name, of course!), and the cat will come around every time! It's uncanny, but it works!! Just sing in a normal voice - not too loud, and see what happens.

Try it! What can it hurt?
Reply:Yes, indeed--she is definitely making progress. Seems like your scent makes her more comfortable now, if she's lying on it.

If you want to be absolutely shameless, you can bribe her to come closer to you with treats. About once a day, get a little smelly food that cats love--maybe wet food if she usually eats dry--and set it as far from you as she'll come and still be comfortable. Then sit quietly and talk casually, ignoring her, until she goes to eat the food (if she doesn't, it should be moved further away). Then you can start moving the food slowly closer... very slowly indeed; and not out into the middle of the room because she probably doesn't like being out in the open and exposed...

The ferals back in my old town were taken care of by a friend who owned a restaurant; and though they wouldn't come closer to me than about ten feet, they would move within a foot of her when she came with their food.

Cats trust people who aren't sudden or excitable, who feed them, and who love them... They can really read body language and tone of voice, and tell if you love them. Cats trust people who are predictable.

Also, she's young still; I bet she loves to play. Are you trying wand/fishing rod toys on her? Those would help her associate you with fun, while still not having to get very close to you to play.

Heidi might never be a lap cat, or even tolerate more than casual contact and brief, gentle petting; but if she can become a confident house cat who likes human presence, has fun playing, and trusts her human and feline companions, you can consider her rehabilitated. :)
Reply:It sounds like you are doing a good job. It will be worth the wait in the long run. Keep up the good work.

How do I get back to enjoying the little things in life?

I mean stuff liek the smell of flowers, the sound of rain on the windowsill, I feel like I used to be able to do this but somehwere along the line I lost it.

How do I get back to enjoying the little things in life?
Spend time sitting and think about your average day and then think of a special day to you. Recall all the things back then which made you happy, you know I just needs to be something that brings a smile to your face. Once you know what really makes you happy, go experience it!

Your soul is letting you know that it's not trivial and you are now trying to reclaim it. To do so you'll have to make time for it in your day. Regularly. You'll be amazed at the results!

Why is the vaginal slit shaped like a oval but is visible as 1,?

(the representation of 1 is itself wrong, they are writing it like a 7, it must be straight unbroken line, like a penis)

when you "enter" 1, you find 0, the source and store of all power (ultimate pleasure or orgasm) and when done, you give up something from the 1, that is what you have "preserved" "collected" or "made", and how is this fitting with a Murugan temple where you enter the door and find Murugan, the physical representation, the King, representing divine authority, with both his wives at each side, in 101 fashion, so you can recharge your spiritual battery by transffering power from the 0, then you feel refreshed and relaxed as you just had a spiritual orgasm, then you pay for it in the form of service to Him, be it physical, flowers, honey, etc., and then you take out your 1 (the 1 is the shape of an upright human) and then once you do it you want to keep doing it again and again?

So what is known as "Hinduism" is in fact the correct, accurate, inimitable TRUTH?

As close as I can tell, you are in a state of utter confusion!

they only way to ascertain the ultimate goal, of this complex issue is to understand the big "O" at that brief moment, stop to understand what is happening to your mind and beliefs. It is a complex thought that goes beyond Carma, the experience will bring you closer to the temple of truth.

but you have to be willing to take that moment during the big "O" to contemplate life to it's fullest and understand it's origin.

you will not achieve this on the first big "O" but only after 5 consecutive big "O" that is when all be become clear, and you become an oracle of the temple

Reply:its shaped the way it is because of the process of natural selection. Somewhere down the line of our evolutionary ancestors millions of years ago this trait was selected for and successfully passed along to us. As for the various religions, they began as attempts to explain the phenomena we explain today with science and to keep a savage people under control. Religion was society's all in one fix: politics, medicine, psychotherapy, law... Today we have those structures outside of religion; so thats why you get so confused trying to relate all those things that you've tried to relate, becuase they don't make any sense and are part of an outdated system of beliefs. They do have a certain charm though, like when you go to the Louvre and see Egyptian mummies.

i don't know much about Oracle so i have to use my SQL Server knowledge to try and help here, since no one else has offered.

first thing, the error line number 6 probably does not reference the line you have numbered as 6. my guess is that line 10 of your line numbered code is where the problem is. that would be the actual 6th line of code as defined by the ; designating the end of line.

if that is the case, i can't offer any more help as i am unfamiliar with the importFrom function, but you might try using defined variables instead of constants in the call. the parser may be confusing them for column names?

I need a name for a set of TST pottery. Platinum edge w/pink background and centered floral bouquet.?

The flowers in the bouquet appear to be anemones and salvias with greenery. They are situated at the bottom of the pottery and are straight up and down - not slanted following the lines of the dish. The pattern is reminiscent of late 1920 and early 1930 patterns.

How important is Freedom of Religion to you? Where do you begin to draw lines?

Is Freedom only for your Sect? or your Religion? Is it open to all foreign religions? To new religions? To sects you disagree with? How about specific sects (whether in Wisconsin or Saudi Arabia) that teach terrorism? Would you throw out the Flowers along with the Weeds?

How important is Freedom of Religion to you? Where do you begin to draw lines?
Very important. I will draw the line at any relgion that wants to impose its beliefs on others, but that is what freedom of religion is supposed to protect. Isn't it? The way some countries try to delegate which religion can be practiced, one has to wonder. Then again maybe it all comes down to the fact that there really isn't any freedom of religion. Interesting little tidbit you might want to contemplate - When war is declared (in the USA) the Bill of Rights becomes null and void and has to be re-enacted by congress at the cessation of war. After WWII it never was. Check the congressional records if you don't believe me. I guess its why the US government can get away with such anti-rights legislation like the Homeland Security Act.
Reply:I draw lines only at illegal activity. So long as it isn't illegal, people are allowed to do whatever they choose in the name of religion.

However, just because I defend your right to belief or do something shouldn't be taken as agreement from me. And if you're obnoxious about your religion, I will treat you as such. You have the right to behave that way, but that right doesn't make you immune to consequences.
Reply:freedom of religion means any religion.

i don't agree with the terrorist stuff any more then the next guy,

just keep in mind,

that just because a culture does not work for us, doesn't mean it isn't right for someone else.
Reply:Incredibly. It is one of the formost important rights in American History. It along with the right to bear arms.

Those 2 represent the final chack and balance. the power of the people to abolish the government of there own choosing and to re-establish it. (Article V also provides a way to do this) Freedom of religion is a part of a larger freedom, which is the freedom to have independent thoughts, ideas, etc. Essentially it is the founding fathers last measure of protection. If one party gains control of 2 branches (most likely the executive and the Legeslative.) then there are 2 final ideas unifying the people against any dictatorship that may rise.

Freedom of religion is essential to lioberty. Without it, and its associates (Speech and the like) Then there is no freedom. without ammendment 2, the citizens lose the right to defeat the governemnt. And yes Rifles and hand guns mixed with a few semi-auto weapons are indeed enough to empower a militia to defeat the american government. (Bombs dont hold much power in civil conflicts. As the LA riots so eloquentlly demonstrated.) More to the point there might be about half a million soilders in the Entire us Army. 2 or three determened states could easily defeat that right now.

Religious freedom is for everyone. The first Ammendment is what sustains the power of the people, and makes it possible for us to further our freedom as we see fit.
Reply:I have to agree with J-R. She's right, our country is supposedly founded on the basis of freedom of religion, but that freedom only seems to extend to certain religions- Christianity being the only really accepted religion.

When was the last time you saw someone criticizing a Christian because they wore a cross? My guess, is probably rare to never.

On the other hand, I wear my pentacle, and am criticized, looked at funny and even witnessed to by people that believe it's their duty to "save" me. That's not freedom of religion.
Reply:Freedom of religion is very important to me. I draw the line when someone acts in such a way as to interfere with someone else's freedom.

Teaching someone something you know to be a lie crosses the line, but I don't think it should be a crime to teach ideas as truth as long as you believe they are true.
Reply:Freedom of Religion is worth defending, even, as an absolute last resort, with deadly force. It's one thing soldiers of many countries have fought and died for. Many civilians have endured ostracism, harassment, and even martyrdom to defend Freedom of Religion. Drawing a line is tricky. England has a state Church, the Church of England of course! However no one except the ruling monarch is obliged to belong to it, the State makes no effort to push it on anyone, and to my knowledge discrimination based on religious affiliation or belief is illegal in Great Britain. So, it is definitely possible to have a state church and still have religious freedom. As far as the situation in the USA is concerned, even though I'm a Norse Heathen, if the Christians want to put their creche in the courthouse lawn during the Holiday Season, I don't care. If the government says they can but the Jews, Pagans and whoever else has a holiday toward the end of the year or the beginnning of the new year can't put up their stuff, then I'd throw fits. If a religious group or individual incites violence or terrorism, however, the government should come down on them hard. Jordsvin

http://home.earthlink.net/~jordsvin
Reply:answer: Absolutely important except when it teaches violence against others or insists that their religion is the only correct one and that it must be inserted into the government.

I don't care if you believe in alien souls, sacred underwear or in a trinity, just don't insist I have to believe like you do. Don't push your beliefs into the government and schools and don't try and forbid my ways of worship.
Reply:Very.

Unfortunately, this country is biased against all religions, other than Christianity ( think about all the Christian holidays that are recognized by the government, the words "under god" added to the pledge and our money, and all the religious symbols on government property, just for a start).

I wish that there were true religious freedom in this country, for every religion. Then I could openly worship Ceiling Cat.

Reply:freedom never includes the right to do harm, to humans, animals, or nature. that's the only line i draw on any type of freedom, whether of religion or the use of controlled substances.
Reply:Freedom of religion is extremely important for ALL but a line must be drawn when a "religion" teaches it's followers that it must do harm to themselves or others.
Reply:It is very important to me and I draw the line on Religions that are harmful to its followers or other that they disagree with.
Reply:I have lived in places where there is just the state religion and so I appreciate that we can even have this discussion. I lived in Eastern Europe and Turkey, so I am aware of what religious intolernace does. I was arrrested for my beliefs on several occasions. It is not a fun experience.

Needless to say I am avery big fan of the First Ammendment and appreciate it's virtues. I like to define religious freedom along the same lines that I define other freedoms. To paraphrase Ben Franklin "your rights stop at the bridge of my nose". My grandparents were very active in the 60's Civil Rights movement. They marched with MLK and were very fond of explaining to me that it was just as important to protect the free speach rights of those who opposed them, "because if they can shut them up then they can shut us up". As for religon and violence I have a simple theory - Violence is not religion, it is violence. Yet we need to be very careful how we interpret that. I am sure that residence of the cities that the "Crusaders" went through would have a very different opinion on their "liberation".

I believe that tolerance and understanding is the answer.
Reply:"Religions" who's actions fall under the guidelines that the FBI determines as cults should be eliminated.

Any religion which separates one from one's family, friends and outside associations, trains out free thought, hunts down and captures or kills followers, refuses to allow outsiders in to see what the religious group does on a day to day basis, promotes blind obedience to a religious leader and/or promotes hatred of other religions is classified as a cult. Such examples are the Branch Davidians and the followers of Jim Jones and the WBC.

Those above listed groups are not religions; they are cults.

Outside of those types of cults, freedom of religion should include all real religions (i.e. not cults).

That said, what many do not understand, here in the US about freedom of religion, is that freedom to practice one's religion ends at the listeners right to say no.

Many take religion to mean that they may use whatever means that they feel justified in doing to convert others to their religious beliefs. We see the examples all over the news and in the world where we live.

Under our Constitution, freedom of religion gives us the right to practice our faith as we see fit without government interference, BUT it also limits us in one very important way; we MAY NOT coerce, in any way, shape or form, others to our religion. It doesn't matter what that religion is.

To clarify, here are a few examples;

Jehovah's Witnesses may come to your door and ask to preach their religion to you. When you say "no", then they must leave.

Anyone may preach their religion, to all who wish to listen, in a public place. However, they may not follow or harass you into listening by following you and preaching to you if you walk away or say that you are not interested.

Anyone may post their preaching on a publicly operated web group, however, if the owners of the group say that they may not preach religious subjects (no matter what religion) on that group, then that is the rule that must be followed.

Freedom of religion safeguards us to freely practice our religions, but it also protects us from persecution and unwanted harassment from other religions or religious group.

What would be the best processional line-up?

When walking down the ailse at the ceremony, what would be the correct order including parents and grandparents. I have my mother and my step father, the grooms parents, I have one grandmother, he has one grandmother, 2 ring bearers, 1 flower girl, 1 juniors bridesmaids, 5 bridesmaids, 5 groomsmen, 1 best man, 1 maid of honor, and my father walking me down the aisle.

What would be the best processional line-up?
Well this is how we did it for my wedding...

-Grandparents went first, his side followed by my side

-Then the Grooom's parents were seated

-Next, my mother was seated by an usher

-The bridesmaids went indivdually meeting thier partner groomsman half way down the aisle

-Then the flower girl/ring bearer

-Finally my dad and myself

That is a very standard processional.
Reply:Let the Priest, and the groom be standing up at the alter first. You may want all the groomsman to wait up there. Then have the usher sit your mother first, then an usher sit his mother next. Then have either best man, maid of honor walk together or have maid of honor walk up and stand. Then next bridesmaid. Have all bridesmaid, then junior bridesmaid. Then have the ring bearer, then the flowergirl, then you and your dad. Once the flowergirl is up front the music starts for you and you walk slowly up to the front.

Hope this helps.

What is the best mulch to us a round flower bed surrounded by oak trees?

mutible beds in low line multie soil conditionds, From clay/ high groung, to sand in low land (Use soil conditioneir, to balance planting, does not always work.HELP ME!!!

What is the best mulch to us a round flower bed surrounded by oak trees?
Interesting mix of soils. I'd start composting all the oak leaf droppings with grass clippings and other leaves. That would break down into beautiful mulch and could be dug or tilled into the soil. You'll need a ton of it to make any impact on the sandy loam, but, hey, it's free and you'll have a ton of it before you know it. That commercial soil conditioner is expensive and you're probably not adding enough of it to make a difference. I stopped buying that stuff a long time ago. Now I compost my leaves and grass clippings and those of my neighbors, as well (they LOVE me!). It took me about two years but I just kept rototilling the compost in and - voila! - rich soil with very few insects.
Reply:add sphagnum peat moss to your sandy areas and composted pine bark to the clay areas. peat will help maintain moisture balance in sand and bark will help clay drain and become looser.

you're probably nutrition starved in all areas.. trees absorb a LOT of nutrients. controlled release fertilizer is a great way to go.. like Osmocote.

Further.. are you planting the right plants???? Sounds like you need shade lovers there..

best I can do..

as far as the mulch goes.. use the kind you like best. sounds like all the mulch is doing is finishing the bed.

Ideas for covering up a lower back tattoo?

I have a tribal bat on my lower back and was wondering if anybody had some unique designs that I could get it covered up with? I love cats and flowers. I want something that will simply cover the lines, nothing huge and extravagant. Any ideas are appreciated and the picture of it is here: http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r116/...

Ideas for covering up a lower back tattoo?
because the tattoo is not colored in it should be pretty easy for a TALENTED artist to cover up. (what the previous person said about having to have it covered with black ink is not true because it isn't colored in solid black) i have had 2 tattoos covered up and they look great. first you need to decide what you want to get (just a general idea) then you should contact a custom tattoo artist and talk to them about your coverup. i wouldn't recommend getting a coverup using flash because it's just so generic. let the custom tattoo artist create a piece of art for you that will adequately cover the old tattoo. if you look at my 360 you'll see my back piece which has covered up two old tattoos. i couldn't be happier with it. it was definitely worth the time and money i put into getting it. if you need help finding an artist in your area feel free to email me.
Reply:Chat or have a consulation with a tatoo artist. I have seem them work miracles and make beautiful tats are over old tattoos :)
Reply:The truth is that any cover-up is going to be bigger than what you have now.

I agree that you should consult an artist. A cover up has to be big enough to encompass the lines that are already there and also incorporate the color.

I had a small maybe 3/4 inch by 1/2 inch Japanese symbol that I had covered up with a Buddha and the Buddha had to go almost 1/2 way up my back...of course that has to do with the fact that the Buddha is what I wanted so if the exact tat does not matter you may be able to get away with something that is not much bigger.

So it will have to be a bit bigger and have a lot of color.

Consult an artist.
Reply:The only thing that covers black ink is BLACK INK. The only way to cover the existing design is cover the lines with a BIGGER design.

The best place to start is a reputable tattoo parlor. Look through their portfolios and ask for examples of tattoo "cover ups". Show the artist what you have and they can recommend the best way to cover your existing tattoo.

Be prepared to spend hundreds of dollars and at least 5 hours (2 or more sittings) to completely cover your tribal bat.

And just be glad you never had the bat colored!

Reply:It seems from the pic that it will be a easy cover up given that it's not colored. A good floral design may be the best way to go. Talk to a local tattoo artist you trust for the best advice.

Has anyone ever had a bad experience with FTD?

I ordered flowers a week before the 14th and they guarenteed they would be there by the 14th now the flowers won't be there until the 16th. The worst part is I can't talk to a person because their costomer servce line keeps hanging up on me due to high call volume. Don't ever use FTD.

Has anyone ever had a bad experience with FTD?
I've had the same problem. I ordered mine on the 12th and they never showed up, even though the "check status" on the website says they were delivered.

I can't get through their customer service line, and my email has not been answered.

I'm wondering if they had some sort of computer malfunction that affected their ordering system?

I am definitely boycotting FTD!
Reply:yes
Reply:Yep, same problem. There were a bunch of DELIVERED 1800flowers boxes at my work. Guess who I'm using next time?

Can someone explain this poem for me line by line, its meaning and its imagery? thanks in advance?

If You Forget Me by Pablo Neruda

I want you to know

one thing.

You know how this is:

if I look

at the crystal moon, at the red branch

of the slow autumn at my window,

if I touch

near the fire

the impalpable ash

or the wrinkled body of the log,

everything carries me to you,

as if everything that exists,

aromas, light, metals,

were little boats

that sail

toward those isles of yours that wait for me.

Well, now,

if little by little you stop loving me

I shall stop loving you little by little.

If suddenly

you forget me

do not look for me,

for I shall already have forgotten you.

If you think it long and mad,

the wind of banners

that passes through my life,

and you decide

to leave me at the shore

of the heart where I have roots,

remember

that on that day,

at that hour,

I shall lift my arms

and my roots will set off

to seek another land.

But

if each day,

each hour,

you feel that you are destined for me

with implacable sweetness,

if each day a flower

climbs up to your lips to seek me,

ah my love, ah my own,

in me all that fire is repeated,

in me nothing is extinguished or forgotten,

my love feeds on your love, beloved,

and as long as you live it will be in your arms

without leaving mine

Can someone explain this poem for me line by line, its meaning and its imagery? thanks in advance?
This poem is written in modern English, has no obscure meanings, and is easy to read. Have you tried reading it aloud and taking notes as you go along? What does each line say to you? Poetry really doesn't work well when it's second hand. Your reading of it will include your reactions to it, and the memories or feelings that it evokes in you.

What does line 4 mean?

No Tomorrow

by Angel Towe

I am going to die tomorrow,

But yet I haven't been born.

My mother shows no sorrow,

For I am a product of love torn.

I will never see the light of day,

I will never smell a flower,

I will never walk along a waters bay,

Or feel the drop of an Aprils shower.

It hurts for no one to show me love,

I will never be hugged or kissed,

When I have gone to the heavens above,

I wonder if I will be missed.

Today is my last day to live,

My last thought, my last breath.

Just think of all I could give,

But tomorrow I'll be put to rest.

also do you see any other good figurative language and what is the mood and why. Thank-you

What does line 4 mean?
It could mean one of several things, since this is obviously a poem about an aborted baby.

"Product of love torn" - my parents used to be in love, but aren't anymore

"Product of love torn" - I am the result of my mother being raped

"Product of love torn" - I am the result of a love relationship, but my mother is trying to forget that fact and dispose of me, because I am inconvenient.

Sadly, this poem is too true!

Hope this helps!
Reply:My mother will abort me and I won't see reality.

The mood is sad.
Reply:i am baby of divorce lovers? or unreal love..

is this about abortion :(?
Reply:the poem is about abortion, the 4th line is about how the child was conceived out of love but that changed and ending the pregnancy wasnt a difficult choice for the mother

What should I get/do my wife for V-day?

I am sick of buying her flowers or jewelry and a card. Last year I made her breakfast in bed and had tons of flowers sent to the house. This year I want to do something a little different. I already have reservations at a nice restaurant and a baby sitter lined up what can I do/get to make this a little extra special and not so ordinary??

What should I get/do my wife for V-day?
Re create her favorite moment in your relationship. Give her personal insight to how you feel about her. Write her a poem. What is her passion? Either give it to her or do it with her. I love when my man writes to me because I know how much he hates to write and bear his soul to me in that way. But when he does, not only is it moving bcz I know he loves me enough to do so but it brings us closer together and gives me a new understanding of things he does or how he feels. We love that type of connection

They say while gifts that come from the heart may be free, not only are they priceless but also come with a lifetime guarranty.

I mean you said so yourself; you are plain tired of the old valentine cheesy routine. So I recommand that you show her how much she %26amp; the child mean to you all year round.

As for Valentine's.. why not stay home %26amp; spend it with her %26amp; your child? just some quiet peaceful time in front of the fire place simply sharing %26amp; enjoying that gift of closeness between the three of you.

Trust me; she wouldn't know what hit her.

Good luck brother

Ok to buy her flowers, or should I attempt to kiss her?

Theres a woman who I work with who I really care about. I've told her this. She says i'm the nicest lovelist man she knows but just doesnt think it could work. OK I say to myself. Then I get a message saying that if it wasnt for work she probably would go out with me. I'm very confused as we have the odd message about things but it gets to a point and she suddenly stops. She says she isn't repulsed by me or think i'm ugly. From what I can tell its just cos we work 2gether. I've said, so what? whats the worst that can happen!! Today we were messaging and I said something along the lines of "oh so the thought of kissing me repulses you" to which she replied "Don't be soft I dont find you replusive". I sent one back saying "maybe i'll just kiss you like they do in the movies, so I better brush up on my romantic films so I can blow your socks off".

Honestly, would it be wrong for me to do this? I don't want to offend her or make her feel violated,

Ok to buy her flowers, or should I attempt to kiss her?
Buy her flowers. You would look like an *** if you just tried to kiss her. Be nice before you try to kiss her.

Martinique is an island between the Caribbean sea and North Atlantice Ocean of Trinidad and Tobago.

Named for Victor Schoelcher, the French abolitionist whose work helped end slavery on the island in 1848, it sits just off La Savane, the central park.

The capital's narrow balconied streets, lined with shops and restaurants, all lead to a pleasant discoveries, including the Cathedral of Saint-Louis, the Palais de Justice with its statue of Victor Schœlcher, the Musée Départemental with archeological finds from prehistoric Martinique and the Rivière Madame with its busy fish markets. There are reasonably-priced guided walking tours of Fort-de-France if you would like to learn more about he city.

While planting some flowers I found a cocoon that was red and when I poked it the top would move, what is it?

It was literally in the dirt when I found it. It scared me because I've never seen such a thing. I tried picking it up with a spoon but I guess I harmed it because it started to foam and drip. I've tried looking on the internet but no luck. It was about the six of half a pinkey and it was blood red with some black lines. On one top it was pointy and everytime I poked it that point woulld rotate. WHAT IS IT?!

While planting some flowers I found a cocoon that was red and when I poked it the top would move, what is it?
It's definitely a grub which has developed to a June bug ready to emerge. They eat the roots of just about everything. I hope you didn't put it back in the ground. Get some Grub X and follow the directions. Grubs can destroy a lawn or garden in a very short period of time. After they spend some time feeding on roots they emerge as a beetle known as a June Bug. They then lay more eggs and the process starts all over again. Grub killer should be put down twice during the growing season. The instructions for your zone will tell you when.

Only Yesterday

It seems like only yesterday

I felt your fingers tiny grip.

You smiled and laughed and loved to play

Building blocks and modeling clay.

Attached as always to my hip

It seems like only yesterday.

I lost you in the shops one day

Into the dress rack you did slip.

You smiled and laughed and loved to play

You didn't really run away.

T'was such a frightful shopping trip.

It seems like only yesterday

You brought me breakfast on a tray

Flowers, toast, and coffee to sip

You smiled and laughed and loved to play.

But growing I cannot delay

These apron strings I have to snip.

It seems like only yesterday

You smiled and laughed and loved to play.

Can someone help me create a villanelle?

What should I wear to my boyfriends parent's vow renewal's in Hawaii?

This July I am going on a trip to Hawaii with my boyfriend and his family- his parents are getting remarried on the beach. His dad is wearing linen pants... seems it will be pretty casual. I have bought a red sun dress with small white flowers on it, and it goes to the knee. It has a v- neckline and short sleeves. It ties in the back right under the bust line and then flows loosely from there. I'm not sure if this is right, or if I should be looking for something else.

What should I wear to my boyfriends parent's vow renewal's in Hawaii?
I think thats pretty cute and appropriate. Try it with some nice high heeled sandals, and take some designer flip flops (just in case you get tired.)

Formal+Hawaii= A nice summer dress
Reply:a nice coctail dress mabye from guess or bebe. something chiffon or summery even a hawaiin print!!!! goode luc. adn i think you should show the dress you hav and ask your boyfriend, get him to tell you th ehonest truth that you dont mind getting a new one

Do you believe in this line? please read on..?

this is the passage ...

"It's strange! All living things must die! Growing old means getting closer to death. The sooner a flower blooms, the sooner it will wither and die!"

If you believe in this, could you please give me the best resolve for this, guys?

thankzzzz

Do you believe in this line? please read on..?
All living things do die, in the body, but the soul lives on. Until they unite with God.

Life never ceases.
Reply:the big truth is DEATH...everyone has to die one day...as we goes older our strenght and power starts declining so it says "getting old means getting close to death" and the last line shows the short span of life...take the example of lily ..it blooms for a day give joy and happiness to others by its beauty and fragnence and dies that night.......the lines have great and deeper meaning!!!!
Reply:defenitely yes,all creatures die as we going older.
Reply:It means that nothing lasts forever...everything must come to an end sooner or later but you must enjoy the greatness and beauty of it whilst it's there.
Reply:Nothing dies, its an old fashion idea reached to us by religions, everything changes, everything moves from one place to another, nothing gets old,but moves through time toward oldness. we move from

somewhere toward some other place in time,we do not get old,we just change and move toward oldness. So time is meaningless if there is no movement, OK?
Reply:It is a fact that life comes to an end.
Reply:do you?

i think it is much better thinking of it this way -- death is just the beginning, there is more afterwards. After a flower blooms, that is not the end, it will ripen into fruit etc etc.
Reply:Enjoy the time you are given. Dwelling on the fact that it all must end some day will only ensure that you will not get any joy out of life.
Reply:U grow up poor but die rich!
Reply:birth, school, work, death.

What is the point of valentines day?

Not only does it suck if you don't have anyone to share it with, but even if you have someone, they usually F it up. Who invented this "holiday" anyways? Its a cheesy day that usually makes people end up feeling upset because they have no one or mad at they're boyfriends for screwing it up. I was in smiths yesterday and the line of men buying wilting flowers at the last minute was incredible. Shouldn't we be showing our love EVERY day, not just Feb. 14th with overpriced stale chocolate and wilting flowers?

What is the point of valentines day?
Valentines Day is one of those manufactured holidays that Hallmark and every jewelry store and florist on the face of the earth take full advantage of, by making it seem like unless you get your "sweetheart" something on that day, you really don't care. It's a total guilt trip, right up there with Boss's Day and Secretary's Day and Kwanzaa.

P.S. I've only gotten one box of chocolates from a guy I was dating, and I swear the stuff had been left over from LAST valentines day.

I no longer go with that guy, and in fact, I no longer go with ANYONE. I'm better off solo, and I know what kinda chocolates I like.
Reply:theres no point at all
Reply:your right; its just ****** up because like any holidays it just serves to remind people how lonely they are like a slap to the face or if your with somebody your anxious for that person to remember that date; to get you a present; have time 4 u and blah, blah and sometimes they screw the day up and you fight with each other over something stupied like today and end up alone again..so **** it!
Reply:To meet your lovers or patch up with the one u left.
Reply:Valentines day is celebrated in remembrance for St Valentine, a martyr. The modern holiday is both a mix of Christian and ancient roman traditions. The Catholic Church still recognizes at least three different saints named Valentine or Valentinus, all of which were martyrs.

What does this line mean ?

“This bud of love, by summer’s ripening breath,/May prove a beauteous flower when next we meet”

What does this line mean ?
i think this is a line from my soon to be released autobiography. plagiarism!!!!

just kidding, but i can relate to the statement.

it means that the love which developed in the time you had together will be very special when you come together again.
Reply:I think that the line is suggesting that although the love is undeveloped like a bud of a flower, only time (which is the time they must wait until they get to see one another again) will reveal whether or not the love may truly and fully develop and bloom as a flower would.
Reply:It's from Romeo and Juliet - how beautiful and romantic to be sent something like this! I think Juliet says it to Romeo in the balcony scene. It means their love, which is just beginning, will bloom by their next meeting. Their familes are at war, which means they can't see one another. Being apart from someone can make feelings even stronger ("absence makes the heart grow fonder"). Whoever sent this to you is a romantic at heart. Lucky you!
Reply:love is like a flower, since its the beginning of summer this flower is just a flower bud. after the lovers spend the summer together the bud will grow into a flower
Reply:Bud of my love is the object of your affection. Summers ripening breath....a new beginning. The rest is just saying Hey good looking, I"ll be back to pick you up later.
Reply:I think it means the seed of love has been sewn. It hasn't blossomed into full love yet. But with time, by next Summer when you meet it will have grown into something more solid.
Reply:Means that this love( or interest) between us, brought about by summer, might grow to be something beautiful when we meet again.
Reply:Well, I think it means our love is still young and growing, but in time it will flourish and mature into true everlasting love.
Reply:"this bud light i love, blah..blah...blah...you look beautiful....blah...blah...blah...we meet....i want sex"
Reply:it means that during your separation, your affection for each other may grow.
Reply:there is hope of a future love upon your next meeting based on a first encounter

"love at first sight"
Reply:You love has begun and it will be greater the next time you get together.
Reply:I think it means in a short time you will be older and the love between the two will be more fulfilling
Reply:It means, run the other way ! Really sounds old fashioned. You want a real charmer, send me an email.
Reply:I would say that you have a chance for love and it could be beautiful.
Reply:It means "LETS GET BUSY"
Reply:I have no idea . It sounds like an excerpt out of a Shakespeare play .
Reply:I think it means sex.

What's your feelings on women with tattoos on their chest?

i have a drawing of mine that I want to get tattooed onto me, but I am not sure where. It is a flower in black almost like a tribal or aztec tat, with a butterfly sucking it's nectar. I am torn between my back upper shoulder blade area, w/ the butterfly coming out onto my shoulder/arm, or my chest. I am thinking above the breast, closer to the front shoulder area, possibly even lower/mid breast line . . . any suggestions?

What's your feelings on women with tattoos on their chest?
I would buy a few temporary tattoos similar to the one you want and put in in several spots and decide for yourself where you like it the best.Once you get it on your body for real..its there for life..So be sure its what you really want to do and that you won't regret it when you get older and it looks old too.you might think its cute or sexy right now but you might change your mind later.
Reply:In my opinion the chest tattoos don't look good on women. But, the whole point of getting a tattoo is decorating your body the way you like. I think the tattoos on the lower back are cute.
Reply:I agree with ESweetPea to. I went to the beach yesterday

and saw more chest tattoos than I cared to see. Since I saw

so many yesterday on all different ages, races, and body types I can honestly say it doesn't look good on any woman - especially fat women and older women!!
Reply:as for me i wont get one on my chest. but i do have one on my shoulder and one on my lower leg . just think about it hard where u want it. cuz remember its there for ever. and good luck
Reply:I have five on my chest. When I wear v-neck shirts or tank tops you can see them. They don't look bad just a lighted faded. My husband likes they way they look and so do I
Reply:personallyi wouldnt do that
Reply:Be aware that when you get older, the tat will sag along with your titty. Put it somewhere where the skin doesn't deform as much with age, like the chest ABOVE your breast, or your shoulder/bicep area.

I've seen some ol' leather-skinned biker chicks with ooooold tats and man, they shoulda thought more about placement. You don't want to draw attention to any titty sag. But on the bright side, you do appear to get more ink for your money when the tattoo stretches out along with your skin.
Reply:I guess it depends on how much you want to show off your tat - and your particular style of dress.

I agree with ESweetPea - gravity can ruin even the best artwork. My G/F has a small dragon "sitting" nicely above her right breast (lucky bastard ;);) ) - that would be the ideal location if you like to show off your tat with a little cleavage...
Reply:I'm an old broad with a tat on my right breast and I still love it...whether it sags or not it means a lot to me, be damned what others think!

You need to decide what you really want and stick to what you want. Don't let others persuade you otherwise.

So, when you are an old broad like me it will still mean a lot to you!

Good luck girlfriend!

What is the difference of showing that you care and being a stalker??

I am really interested in someone. We were only seeing each other for around 3 weeks. Things got a little complicated (she has a serious health condition) and I told her that I felt we shouldnt see each other again. I said that out of fear. She hung up on me before I could explain. I've called her a few times and left messages asking her to call, but no call. I've tried to explain that I said what I said out of fear but nothing has worked. I know she was really interested in me before all of this happened. I dont want to give up, but at the same time I dont want to look like a stalker. I was thinking about sending flowers, trying a new approach. Any suggestions? Should I just leave her alone? There is that old saying that you will never know until you give it your all... but I dont want to look psycho or desperate. Where do we draw the line?

What is the difference of showing that you care and being a stalker??
Be there when she needs you, like maybe if she got hurt by someone socially or physicaly. Help her with any trouble. Don't judge her by something that doesn't mean anything UNLESS you guys are going out like if maybe she talks to another guy (let her have her space). Call when you actually want to "hang out" with her or have something important to say. No "I'm bored" conversations, she might have something less boring or more important to do. Don't always go places with her alone (like ALL the time), join in with some friends so she doesn't feel the pressure that you're obssessed with her. Don't always make the plans, let others do the brain work and join later or "accidentaly" meet up or something. Girls can take the smallest things as a bad sign
Reply:awww....thats sweet. you're not being a stalker. just give her a call and tell her how you feel and what a big mistake it was to break up with her.....ect. don't just leave her alone if you really like her, and if she has a serious medical condition she could really use your support.

i hope she gets better...
Reply:definitely dont call her pshychotically...thats the number one wrong thing to do....just leave her a message and just let your heart out...girls like hearing all the mushy stuff...tell her how much u want to be with her and that breaking up with her was a big reality check for you..that you want to be with her...u dont know what u got until its gone....good luck with that
Reply:The diffrence is when you care, you give her some space to herself, and not follow 24/7.Then she'll get anoyed of you following her, and breathing down her neck all of the time (even though that is kind of nice!!!)Talk to this lady, see how she feels and work something out.
Reply:let her alone for a little while, then try to talk to her and explain your reasons for what you did
Reply:you made the choice by tell her you didnt want to see her again so you got your wish so let it go and move on before you go to jail
Reply:why did u say u shouldnt see each other again?

if she doesnt call u back, then maybe u should just leave her alone for a while..
Reply:She had a health issue and you dumped her. No wonder she doesn't want to talk to you, you treated her like crap. If you insist on speaking your mind, write her a letter. That way she doesn't have to look at you. But after the way you treated her, don't get your hopes up.
Reply:the difference between showing that you care and being a stalker is if you are a stalker you basically follow her around. I'm not saying that's true in all cases but in most it is. but if you send flowers that is not considered being a stalker. if it were me i would just leave a message on her answering machine and explain why you said it. that's all i know. good luck

I have to write a Shakespearean Sonnet?

I know it has to be 14 lines, and each line needs 10 syllables. I also know it has to be in the rhyme scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGG but it is very hard! Can someone help me out? I was thinking about writing it about growing a flower or something, particularly a rose, but any subject matter will do. Can someone please help me get started? Thanks! And happy new year!

I have to write a Shakespearean Sonnet?
Poetry writing is very difficult. The best way to start is to come up with a theme that you want to discuss. Then, pick the subject through which you want to convey this theme. For example, if you want to write a sonnet about loss of innocence, you could do so metaphorically by describing a wilting flower.

Once you have your theme and subject matter, start to play around and write out your ideas in a first draft. It does not have to be perfect! Just get your ideas on paper. Remember to use lots of descriptive words.

After you have done this, it is time to work your poem into the form of a Shakespearean sonnet. Adjust the lines to fit the rhyme and syllable requirements.

It is a very difficult job, but if you approach it step-by-step like this it should make the process easier. Good luck!

Reply:I could only find three

smelter

swelter

welter
Reply:IDK!
Reply:try a different word than shelter because that is too hard
Reply:Felt her. (not in a nasty way)
Reply:your poem is really beautiful, i can't find any good words that rhyme with shelter, but i went on a rhyming dictionary and this is what came up... Smelter, Belter, swelter, welter

Sorry they aren't that good
Reply:I recently had to write sonnets for a creative writing class I was taking, and the website www.rhymezone.com was EXTREMELY helpful to me. I suggest you check it out!
Reply:I'd suggest that you change the word shelter to something else... poems don't always have to rhyme either (unless your assignment calls for it) . Personally I enjoy non-rhyming poems, they sound more sincere. If you made a good poem that doesn't rhyme, you'd probably really impress your teacher.

What's the name of this kind of art???
What you posted a link to is actually photoart. In other words, photographs that have been altered.

If I were to categorize it I would say it was simply a style of graphic art.
Reply:id say photoshop....there isnt a name yet as art u know?
Reply:My guess would be "Abstract Art" or "Pop Art" which was popular in the 1960's and early 70's. Please note similar works by artists such as Andy Warhol (which the wallpaper example reminds me of) and Peter Max (petermax.com) which is one of my favorites as well.

Should Bush unfortunately pass away - would you visit his grave to put flowers on his grave or to urinate on?

it?

And would you be willing to stand in the long lines waiting to do the same????????????

Should Bush unfortunately pass away - would you visit his grave to put flowers on his grave or to urinate on?
I wouldn't do either probably. I would feel like peeing on it sometimes but at the same time I will never know the entire truth of his campaign! I am not a republican and I don't have loyalty to him! I wouldn't wait in a line for it, that's for sure, got many other things to do before I die!

How do you know what size a flower head is ?

I would like to order flowers on-line. Roses, etc...they offer many colors and sizes, I don't know the size 6cm or the other sizes mentioned .how do I find a way to compare or learn to convert sizes? can a florist or someone that understands my question help.....Thank-You, maria

How do you know what size a flower head is ?
cm = centimeters.

It's the average size - across - of the flower, given in cm (centimeters) or occasionally inches.

Most rulers will have cm as well as inches.
Reply:...with SCIENCE!
Reply:If you measure the bed you need to take your length and multiply it by your width
Reply:To convert centimeters into inches multiply by 0.3937. To convert inches into centimeters multiply by 2.540. This is easiest with a calculator of course, but if you do it enough you'll develop at least a rough idea on your own.

6 x 0.3937 = 2.3622

2.3622 x 2.540 = 5.99988

so 6cm is a little under two and a half inches.

Is ivory wedding dress good for first marriage?

I and my finace are going to get married in this May. This is first marriage for both of us. Is there any special issue about the color of a wedding gown that I need to concern? Is ivory an appropriate color for a first marriage couple?

I have tried several gowns: white or ivory. Both of us like an ivory one the best. That is a strapless satin A-line gown featuring a cascading side drape with a flower at waist and a sweep train. The flower and drap are in champagne. We do like the contrast of ivory and champagne. It is very elegant and classy. So, we ordered that gown in ivory although they do have white one available. However, now I am worrying if that color is an appropriate choice since I noticed some people would suggest second marriage brides to wear off white/ivory wedding dress. Could somebody please help me? Thank you so much.

Is ivory wedding dress good for first marriage?
there is no rule about color. Queen Victoria is generally credited with having started the white wedding dress craze.

In Victorian times, a woman who could afford an expensive white dress for a one-off occasion was thought to be at the top of her social tree.

Because delicate garments were near impossible to keep clean, a wedding dress could be worn just the once and only people with a lot of money could afford to purchase one.

"It was a clear indication you were a wealthy women and that you were marrying into wealth," Dr Summers told Annie.

Prior to Queen Victoria women used to wear every day clothes for the wedding ceremony with a white veil and Orange Blossom to indicate the significance of the event.

It was after World War II the white wedding dress became an indication of a woman's virtue.

Dr Summers said she believes the reason the tradition of the white wedding dress has survived, is due to the lack of romance and excitement in a woman's life.
Reply:There are no right and wrong colors to a wedding a dress. It's your day and you can wear purple or black as long as it makes you happy. By the way your dress sounds gorgeous!!
Reply:The color doesn't matter... For my wedding, I wore Ivory, because it looked better with my skin tone...
Reply:I think that it is a great color. I am getting married for the first time March 10 and I have an ivory dress.
Reply:Well, you've already broken with tradition by allowing your fiance to see your dress before the wedding day, so why not have a different color as well?

White is considered to be "pure" and "virginal." Therefore, wearing a white dress is supposed to represent your innocence before your wedding night. I met someone who wore red and black for her first wedding. (She also walked down the aisle to music from "Star Wars" so...)

There was once a tradition of brides getting married while in the nude, or just her underwear. (She was usually behind a closed door.) This was meant as being "married in her shrift on the King's highway." That was to guarantee that her husband was not responsible for his bride's pre-marriage debts or obligations.
Reply:yes i think Ivory is a great choice
Reply:Sure-what is wrong with it? ppl get married in every color of the rainbow. Be happy.
Reply:Who is the "we" who likes the dress? Did you take your fiance wedding gown shopping with you?

It's all a matter of preference. I see more women today who wear ivory instead of white. It all depends on what looks good on you!

Also, the tradition of wearing a white gown does not stem from the idea of being "pure" and "virginal." White used to symbolize joy--that's all it meant. Being joyful. You can be just as joyful in ivory as you can in white!

Personally I'm wearing ivory (although it looks like more of a muted white) because I thought that looked prettiest on me in the dress I chose. If i had found a white white dress, I would have worn white.

Some brides are now going for color like pink or red if that suits them.

The bottom line is that the wedding is about you, your fiance and what makes you two happy. If you want ivory, then who's to stop you?
Reply:The color doesn't really matter, but white is common just because it's traditional...I wore ivory when I got married though because I didn't like that white was also symbolic of "virginal" and I wasn't one...I didn't allow any white in my wedding at all. ☺

A wedding is YOUR day...you can (seriously) wear whatever color or outfit you want to wear...there are no rules ☺
Reply:yes that is ok
Reply:It is totally up to you!! It is your day. Make it special...

Im getting married in June and I am wearing ivory...and I love my dress.

It's great not to be the traditional bride!! Have fun and enjoy it!!
Reply:Traditionally your first wedding your supposed to wear white but its your wedding, your day, your color choice!
Reply:That's an age old question. It is tradition for first-time wives to wear white, it being a symbol of innocence and purity, while second-time wives should wear off white or ivory symbolizing a second chance at regaining a pure marriage. If you are comfortable with your choice of dress, than I really wouldn't worry about. It's your wedding day! The dress is everything, but happiness is forever!
Reply:Ivory is very acceptable, but to be honest, my preference is white. Only because it looks purer and fresher and cleaner especially for a first marriage. But if you like ivory, then go ahead and get it, it is your wedding and you have to be happy.
Reply:The only factor that should influence your choice of color is: white is to be used ONLY by women who marry as VIRGINS! All other opinions and style issues vary from country to country and from culture to culture regardless of the number of times you've been married. If you are a virgin and choose not to wear white; that is your prerogative but you should not wear white if you are not a virgin.
Reply:I'm wearing ivory for my wedding in April...I have never been married before, but I've been living with my fiance for two years. I chose the color because it compliments my skin tone much better than white. Don't let what other people think run your wedding day. As long as you feel beautiful, you have picked the right dress.
Reply:Having an ivory dress is absolutely fine. It is your day, after all! Congratulations and best of luck in your new life together!

Need a sparkly eye make-up/rhindestone design for fairy Halloween costume for young teen.?

I bought tiny rhinestones and spirit gum with remover for my daughter halloween costume. She is going to be a beautiful woodland fairy (nothing dark, gothic or scary) She is a young teenager so she dose not want anything childish but beautiful and "realistic" looking. I am looking for a pattern of what to draw around her eye (like fairy wings, flower, pretty pattern). I will draw the pattern around her eye then put spirit gum and outine the pattern in tiny rindestones. If you can find something on line please send me the link or if you are artisticly inclined please draw something new original and beautiful for me it would be great. Thank you so very much for all of your help and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Should I wear a milky pink or a baby blue dress to prom?

For my milky pink tube top dress, it looks somewhat plain, but it gives off this elegant look to it. Right under my chest, there will be some beads there, and from there, there is another layer, that goes up and wrap around my neck, turning it into a scarf.

Or...my baby blue tube top dress that gives off a princessy feel to it. It has two flowers attached to a thin strap that leads to a choker on my neck. The flowers are on the left side of the body. And on the top half, it has lines going across like this....

____. _____.______

____. _____.______

____. _____.______

____. _____.______ from the top to bottom with sparkly beads on it. ON the bottom half, its plain except there are flowers spread out here and there.

I love both dresses, and still can't figure out which to wear.

And I dont know what kind of jewelry to wear with the dresses. Also, since both dresses are light-colored, is eyeliner necessary?

Should I wear a milky pink or a baby blue dress to prom?
you describe the dresses thoroughly enough, but what about you? are you pale or tan? blonde or brunette? eye color? these things play a big role in the right color for you to wear.

but if judging solely from the dress description, i would say go with the blue. the ruching that you talk about on the top half usually looks flattering on any body type, and it sounds a lot more formal than your pink one - personally, i think it's a little plain...you want to stand out at prom!

as for jewelry, since the blue one already has something around the neck, simply go for big earrings, added with either a bracelet OR a ring (please not both, dont overdo). and i'd recommend hair up so it won't cover up the flower choker.
Reply:you should wear the baby blue dress cuz it gives of this reely

%26lt;princesssy feel%26gt; and its prom ppl so get jazzy and i dont thin u shud wear eyeliner cuz it looks better with hard cloz

and wear stuff that matches ur dress like...figure this out urself
Reply:baby blue its always a prom favorite milky pink is more for a formal, and wear a choker with ur tube top dress it makes u look more sexy and yes!! use eyeliner, with nice frosty eyeshadow color. and make sure its very black eyeliner and on the bottom eyelid use a nice blue eyeliner it will bring out ur eyes even more
Reply:which colour looks better on your skin? we are all either a spring, summer, Autumn or winter and different colours either enhance or make us look worse. some colours will hide little imperfections on your face while others will make them more obvious. you will want the photos to look good aswell. so take a photo of yourself in both dresses in the same light. you might find that one looks better. if you have blue eyes the blue dress might make them look brighter, but maybe if you have fair skin the pink will make you look bronzed. just experiment. best of luck. hope you enjoy the night xo
Reply:the pink and if you are going to get pictures you will need eyeliner.
Reply:The blue one sounds very suitable for a prom , because you are suppose to feel special and like a princess. I personally would go with the blue the pink sounds good if you are going on a date or out for tea.

Nikki
Reply:Do you have a date? That would be one thing to consider helping to make your decision. Depending on what color shirt your date is wearing and how that will match?

If you don't have a date, then I would next decide by what accessories (necklaces, shoes, bracelets, etc.) you have for each dress? If you have some cute accessories for one, but not the other that could help you decide.

Also, which one is more comfortable to dance in? If you plan on dancing, or sitting, or both you may want to choose the dress that best accomodates your activities for that evening. You don't want to rip your dress from dancing too much (happened to me at prom!).

Another thing you might consider, if you have a digital camera; take pictures of you in each dress. Then you can really see what they look like from the camera's point of view.

Just some suggestions. Hope these help!
Reply:I'd go with the baby blue one. That sounds so cool!
Reply:i like the way the pink one sounds, and as for makeup, i think a little eyeliner wont, hurt. definately a light pink eyeshadow and a good mascara. For jewelry i suggest a silver necklace, and maybe a pair of dangling earings. What color heels are u wearing?
