How are Beech Trees pollinated/why would insects NOT be the main source of their pollination?

I have a science question that I'm stuck on, and it's something along the lines of this: Beech Trees have small green flowers. Explain why insects would not be the main source of pollination for Beech Trees. What is a more likely method of pollination?

Any info would be great, thanks!

I don't know whether insects would or would not be the main source of pollination for the beach trees. But there are other means of pollination like wind pollination , may be water pollination(I created it ).
Reply:Can you think of any characteristics of animal-pollinated flowers? How do the animals find the flowers they wish to visit? Why do the animals visit the flowers, anyway?
