Reply:If you really want it to count you should know the lady in question. Also, try to buy from a florist rather than the grocery store, as those flowers tend to last a lot longer. I myself am partial to tulips, but I also love it when my husband buys me roses. Also, if the lady is a gardner consider buying her flowers she can plant, so she can always look at them and think of you.

Reply:Orchids and some exotic lillies (like calla lillies) are definately top of the line and expensive....dahlias would be my other suggestion... im sure you're looking for something other than roses...but those are always nice too
