Is this border line bad to wear to a wedding?

I just previously posted a question about no nos at a wedding, and it got me thinking! I was planning on wearing a simple floral dress to this wedding this weekend, and now that i think about it, it has a light cream color background. it is covered in lavender tropical flowers with leaves and stuff, but there is still a light cream color throughout the dress. is this bad?? will this break the no white / cream color rule? or is it ok because it is patterned? Should i find another dress?

If the dress looks good on you WEAR IT!!!!!
Reply:It should be fine because it has patterns. All white or all cream colors would be bad. But if its a summer wedding, you'll be dressing lightly (color wise) especially if any part of it is outside.
Reply:I think that white rule goes for solid white. I totally wouldn't care if people wore a white dress with a pattern on it at my wedding. I mean, crap.. people better know who the bride is! lol!
Reply:You are totally fine. As long as the dress isn't all white or cream, you should be fine. Don't fret it, I highly doubt anyone would object.
Reply:Sounds like your dress should be fine (even thought that "rule" is the most rediculous thing I've ever heard)
Reply:Sounds very acceptable to me. I'd wear it.
Reply:I think the rule is for white - i.e., solid white.
