I have a driveway easement which I maintain and landscape. Do I need permission to put down ground cover?

Technically, unless it specifically maintains the roadway, you have no right. The easement is yours; the property is his.

I'd pull it.
Reply:Not really. An easement is typically for ingress, egress, and regress. Access to your property.

If you have already planted flowering pear trees, it is probably all right to put mulch around them.

It is best to work with the owner of the property to get him to agree to the mulch. The big idea is to be a good neighbor, and that takes it one step beyond just the legal aspects of easements.
Reply:no you dont
Reply:Better check with the enviornmental police. And libs complain about conservatives intrusion on our individual rights, and personal liberties.
Reply:You have no rights on some one's,you are only responable for what you own.The land owner can make you remove anything you put on there land
