Is it ok to send her flowers?

So I was shopping an found these beautiful flowers that would be perfect for my ex girlfriend.


The problem is that she is dating someone else and they both know that I am not over her.


We are friends and still live together and get a long, but I am wondering if it would be crossing the line to send her these flowers.


If so, what should I say on the card?

Her current boyfriend would be bound to see the flowers and question your intentions, even if you don't mean anything romantic by them. She may also think that you're coming onto her strongly with them, and that could put a strain on your friendship. The flowers are a nice thought, but I think overall it would worsen the situation. If you want to be noble and be a bigger man, and gain brownie points with both your ex and her current boyfriend, you could possibly tip him off. Good luck; I know this isn't an easy situation!
Reply:No, you shouldn't be sending her flowers nor be living with her... It's ridiculous... why would she still be living with you if she has no feelings? It's just... a weird game. Be careful!

Reply:I wish my ex would send me flowers but that would be under different cirumstances. Do not send the flowers. You would regret it in the end.
