I was driving down coast of Virginia, Maryland and noticed trees with pink, purple flowers lining the roads.?

Anyone know what kind of trees they are? Don't see them up north.

They might be jacaranda
Reply:If they were fuzzy looking probably Mimosa. If they weren't most likely Crape Myrtle. If you were driving along Rte. 13, there are a ton of Crape Myrtles down there.
Reply:Mimosa?
